This app was developed for retailers who are constantly buying, selling and shipping their inventory. You can see and track what you have for sale, what you have sold in the past and what you need to ship out. You can see a summary of everything you have sold and bought and track your profits and profit margins.

Inventory Tracker has scanner functionality. Scan an item's bar-code. If it is a new item, the app will attempt to look up the item's name and create the new inventory item for you. If it is an item you have previously entered, the app will find it and open that inventory item to ask you what action you'd like to perform.**

Take a picture of your item. Look at the overview screen in landscape mode and you can see a listing of your items with pictures.

Keep your data in sync across multiple devices used by multiple people by using the integrated SynCloud service. Set up an account in the app and start Sync'ing! Note that SynCloud is a subscription service and requires a small monthly fee (currently $1.99).

Worried about losing your data or want to share the data with someone else? No problem! Using the export to email feature, with the press of a button, your data will be exported via email in an easy to read excel spreadsheet. Use iTunes built in back and and restore functionality to transfer your data to a new device or to keep your data backed up.

Inventory tracker also allows you to create a set of custom filters to help you easily view your inventory by status, date, name, location and category. These filters can also be used to filter sales reports or your email exports.

Inventory Tracker can be customized to your needs. If you open Inventory Tracker in your iPhone's settings app, you can configure which statuses you use to manage your inventory. You can enable / disable the following statuses:
- Received: if you need to track how many items are in hand vs how many have been ordered.
- Shipped: if you ship your inventory to customers.
- Delivered: if you need to track how many of your items have been confirmed delivered to your customers.

Inventory Tracker lets you further tailor the app to fit your business needs:
- Do you allow back orders? Ie, are you allowed to sell more than you have already purchased?
- Do you want the app to mark your items as complete automatically after your items are all sold and delivered, or do you want to decide when the items are complete yourself?
